    FAQs

    A1. Edscan School of Determination is a specialized educational institution dedicated to supporting children of determination (students with special educational needs) through personalized learning plans, therapeutic interventions, and inclusive practices.

    A2. We support children with a wide range of learning difficulties and developmental challenges, including:
    • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
    • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
    • Speech and language delays.
    • Intellectual and developmental delays.
    • Down syndrome.
    • Sensory processing difficulties.
    • Behavioral and emotional challenges.

    A3. We accept students from ages 4 to 18, depending on their individual needs and developmental levels.

    A4. We implement a customized curriculum derived from the British, Indian, and International Early Years and Primary Frameworks, thoughtfully adapted to align with each child’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Our daily instruction seamlessly incorporates functional academics, life skills, and therapeutic objectives to support holistic development.

    A5. We offer the following therapies:
    • Speech and Language Therapy.
    • Occupational Therapy.
    • Behavior Therapy.

    A6. Yes. Based on the child’s assessment, we provide one-on-one support through qualified special educators or learning support assistants to meet individual learning goals.

    A7. Each child has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) with specific goals. Progress is tracked regularly and shared with parents during termly review meetings, supported by observation notes, therapy reports, and academic assessments.

    A8. You can contact our admissions office to schedule an initial FREE evaluation & consultation. The process includes:
    • Submission of relevant documents (reports, diagnosis).
    • Child assessment by our multidisciplinary team.
    • Parent interview.

    A9. "Yes, all our staff are thoroughly trained and certified in Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), International Behavior Therapist (IBT), and related disciplines. Many team members also hold internationally recognized qualifications and possess extensive experience in inclusive education and working with individuals with special needs."

    A10. Yes, we offer safe and supervised transportation services, supported by trained aides to assist children who require additional care during travel.

    A11. Our school operates from Monday to Friday, with regular hours from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Therapy sessions and after-school programs may be available beyond these hours, depending on individual needs.

    A12. Yes, we believe in holistic development. Activities include:
    • Art and Music Therapy.
    • Physical Education and Movement Therapy.
    • Social Skills Groups.
    • School Events and Community Engagement Programs.

    A13. We maintain strong parent-school collaboration through regular meetings, parent training workshops, and open communication channels via phone, email, and the school app.
